Conventional underground mining buckets have been protected with weld on and bolt on ground engaging tools (GET) and wear bars for as long as any of us can remember. Consequently, the underground loaders must work harder to carry extra weight and to overcome the friction created by the GET and wear bars.
The design of conventional buckets is further compromised by the boxed-out centre section – an inefficient use of bucket volume that is prone to cracking.
Conventional buckets are heavy and inefficient. The revolutionary Outcast bucket design overcomes these disadvantages.
